South Haven

Melissa and Madison after swimming in the lake. It was really wavy but the kids had a blast in the water.

Chasing sea gulls in the sand. FYI - don't let a child walk around with crackers on the beach. I looked up and we had a dozen sea gulls flying overhead.

LOL - Can you tell it was windy.

Ann Arbor Art Fair

Sam and I took Court to the Ann Arbor Art Fair. How good is my little bus rider, holding onto the pole. MSU Cata here she comes :)

At least someone thinks I'm funny

Camping Trip

This weekend we took Courtney camping for the 1st time. She did OUTSTANDING! I couldn't have been more pleased. She took great naps, slept wonderfully through the night and was a joy to be around during the day. She spent most of the time walking around the campsite, picking up rocks and eating dirt. We took her to Higgins Lake and she had a great time on the sand. The water was a little cold for her taste, but fun nonetheless.

She picked up rocks and put them in her bib. It was too funny.

Sam, let me out of here so I can play in the dirt!

She was so cute, laying in the pack-n-play making cute faces at Grandpa.

We played a lot of Cards.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa, Kyle and Sam for making this such a great trip. It wouldn't have been such a success without you all! Jason, Courtney and I had a great time :)

Detroit Zoo

Last weekend Jenny and Bob Smitka came along with us to the zoo. We saw a lot of really cool things that day. Female Seals mating, baby Joey and his mom hopping around and these super big antlers. The zoo was a happening place that day, you could barely get a parking spot! Thanks Bob and Jenny for coming along with us :)

Jungle Java

Courtney and Brady on a play date after our trip to Jungle Java.

Today we got up early and went to Jungle Java. Great concept for a coffee joint!!! Adults can sip on their favorite cup of Joe (or smoothie) while the children play. They have a wonderful jungle for children 2 + and a nice play area for the little toddlers like Courtney. This is a great place to take your kids once they can crawl and sit up on their own.

Swimming

In Niles, Nonna got Court a raft. His name is Larry the Lobster. Looks like Gracie hitched a ride.

Courtney's 1st time swimming at Heartland Pool. It's a great indoor pool with a lazy river and all kinds of water toys for kids. Highly recommend!!!

Livonia Spree

Jason and I took Courtney to her 1st Carnival, the Livonia Spree. Here she's getting her 1st Elephant Ear w/ Dad.

Someday Court, you too can go on the big kid rides :)

Happy 85th Great Grandma!
